The melody of North African inspiration is very expressive and makes use of the quarter tone interval inherent to Islamic music. This piece is dedicated to Oxum, Orixá of femininity, beauty, and love, but takes a more spiritual approach. It is inspired by Sufism - the purist sect of Islam - where spirituality is linked with beautiful and sensual music. Without falling into the temptation of carnal seduction, the ecstasy is of a spiritual nature. Ora yê yê ô! The great Franco-Iranian percussionist Cyril Atef plays the karkabous (metal castanets) used by the Gnawas, (musicians/mediums) from Morocco, Mauritania and Algeria. Jose Izquierdo the Chilean master percussionist also contributes is profound sense of swing to the track.

A melodia d'inspiração Norte Africana é muita expressiva e faz bastante uso dos “quartos de tom” sonoridade inerente ao universo islâmico. Essa música e dedicada à Oxum, orixá da feminidade, da beleza, e do amor, mas com uma abordagem mais espiritual, inspirada do Sufismo (seita mais purista do Islã) onde a espiritualidade mostra a sensibilidade e sensualidade das melodias orientais, sem cair na facilidade da sedução carnal; o gozo é êxtase espiritual. Ora yê yê ô! O grande percussionista franco-iraniano Cyril Atef toca os “karkabous” (castanholas de metal) utilizadas pelos Gnawas, músicos/médiuns da África do Norte
(Marrocos, Mauritânia e Argélia). O Mestre Chileno da percussão, Jose Izquierdo, também contribui seu suinge único.
